e|net Nominated For Telecommunications Company Of The Year

e|net, the company responsible for managing the State’s Metropolitan Area Networks (MANs), has been shortlisted for the 2009 ICT Excellence “Telecommunications Company of the Year” award, along with Magnet Networks and Complete Telecom.

The shortlist was selected by a leading panel of industry peers and recognises contribution to and achievement in Ireland’s telecommunications industry.

Now in its ninth year, the ICT Excellence Award programme is Ireland’s longest-running and most prestigious event for the technology and telecoms sector.

Welcoming the nomination, e|net CEO, Conal Henry commented, “e|net is very proud of our nomination for Telecommunication Company of the Year. Being nominated for the ‘Oscars’ of our industry underscores the contribution that the MANs and the e|net offering have made to the development of next generation telecoms services in regional Ireland. The 2009 Awards will be presented at The Gala Presentation Dinner in the Royal Marine Hotel, Dun Laoghaire, on May 21st.
