e|net, the company which manages Ireland regional broadband infrastructure, today announced the appointment of a Grainne Naughton as Head of Marketing.
Grainne has worked with e|net since 2004 and previously worked in the Department of Communications Marine and Natural Resources on the Regional Broadband Programme.
A B.Comm graduate of NUI Galway Grainne has a Masters in Business Studies, specialising in e-commerce.
Grainne’s focus will be working closely with e|net’s customers – the telecom companies – to ensure they can deliver broadband services over State’s fibre networks and that e|net’s products and services help them deliver.
Commenting on Grainne’s appointment, CEO Conal Henry said:
“Grainne has been part of the e|net team since 2004 and I am delighted to make this appointment. e|net continues to deliver on the rollout of broadband to the regions and Grainne’s appointment is a key part of ensuring that as many telecoms companies as possible are using the MANs to deliver services to their customers.”
e|net was established in 2000 to operate the State’s regional broadband infrastructure. The company now manages 27 Metropolitan Area Networks, on a wholesale basis, across the country.
