enet nominated for 2017 World Communication Awards

enet, Ireland’s largest wholesale-only carrier, today announced it has been nominated for the World Communication Awards 2017, in the Regional Wholesale Operator category, for its work on the fibre infrastructure network in rural North Kerry.

The World Communication Awards (WCA) were established in 1999 to recognise excellence amongst global telecom operators and are regarded as the premier awards within the global telecoms industry. The World Communication Awards are synonymous with innovation, merit and outstanding performance in the telecoms field.

“We’re delighted to have been shortlisted in the regional wholesaler operator category, for the privately built fibre infrastructure network in rural North Kerry. The nomination recognises enet’s dedication to delivering superfast broadband connectivity to rural Ireland” said Conal Henry, enet CEO.

The awards ceremony will take place in London on 28th November.
