e|net Appoints New Service Delivery Director

e|net, manager of Ireland’s fibre-optic Metropolitan Area Networks (MAN’s), have announced the appointment of Leo Clancy as Service Delivery Director. Clancy will assume responsibility for the assurance of service delivery and network availability to all e|net customers.

Clancy has over 13 years of telecoms and operations experience, having worked with Ericsson throughout his career to date. His most recent role, lasting two and a half years, was as Head of Service Delivery for Ireland.

Prior to that, Clancy held various technical and management roles in the Ericsson Global Service Delivery organization for EMEA, primarily on major infrastructure deployment or expansion programmes. He worked with major operators throughout the region across many Professional Services disciplines including Network Design, Managed Services Consulting, Systems Integration, Network Rollout and System Support.

Clancy earned a Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Dublin Institute of Technology, having previously graduated with a Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunications, also from the Dublin Institute of Technology.
