Celebrating 25
Years of Excellence

Life at Enet

Connected then. Connected now.

Enet has been Ireland’s connectivity backbone for 25 years. From the first Metropolitan Area Networks in 2004 to nearly 10,000 km of fibre today, we’ve grown into Ireland’s largest alternative wholesale telecoms provider. With a team of 350 and a proven track record of innovation, Enet is powering over 1.2 million people and businesses nationwide. Connected then. Connected now. And ready for what’s next.

For 25 years, Enet has been at the heart of Ireland’s connectivity journey. What began as a small team managing the State’s Metropolitan Area Networks has grown into Ireland’s second-largest wholesale telecoms
operator.

Our 350-strong team are the experts behind every fibre line, every wireless connection, and every innovation. They’ve helped shape Ireland’s digital landscape, supporting industries from tech and pharma to finance and AI.

At Enet, our culture is built on PACE – People, Agility, Customer, Excellence. It’s how we work together, how we support our partners, and how we deliver the resilient infrastructure Ireland depends on.

Because while infrastructure connects Ireland, it’s our people who connect Enet.

CEO’s Note

“As we celebrate 25 years, our eyes are firmly on the future. Ireland’s demand for resilient, high-capacity connectivity has never been greater, from AI and cloud to smart cities and 5G.
Enet has always been about progress: building networks that open up competition, connect communities, and enable businesses to thrive. That commitment remains unchanged. Our role is to keep Ireland connected, today and for generations to come.”

— Peter McCarthy, CEO, Enet
