Cormac Ryan appointed Sales Director at Enet, as company recruits for growth
Enet, Ireland’s largest wholesale, open-access network provider, has appointed Cormac Ryan as Sales Director. In his new role, Cormac will oversee the implementation of Enet’s ongoing sales strategy and delivery of the company’s revenue line, as well as managing the sales team. He will report to David Eyre, Enet’s Chief Commercial Officer.
Cormac has extensive understanding of telecoms in the Irish marketplace with over 20 years of customer relationship experience, including the management of customer projects, as well as holding sales and business development roles. Previously, Cormac held roles in Silicon & Software Systems (S3 Group) and BT Ireland, where he acted as Client Director. Immediately prior to his new role, Cormac served as Enet’s Commercial Manager.
He holds a degree in Electrical and Microelectric Engineering from University College Cork, as well as a diploma in Applied Project Management from the same institution.

The appointment comes as Enet continues to expand its Limerick headquarters, with new staff spanning a variety of roles, from engineering and operations to sales and customer services, set to join this year. The new hires will bring the number employed by the business to over 115.

With employees in Limerick and Dublin, Enet manages over 5,400km of fibre infrastructure, including a unique backhaul network, as well as operating one of the largest fixed wireless networks in the country. The company currently counts over 70 different retail service-providers as clients, including the likes of Imagine, Magnet, Three, Virgin Media and Vodafone.
