Telecommunications Rigger x2

enet, Ireland’s largest open access network operator and the company responsible for managing the State’s fiber-optic Metropolitan Area Networks (MANs). enet provide a wide range of telecoms services on a wholesale basis and have become the provider of choice for fibre and wireless network services to the telecommunications industry in Ireland.  enet currently has an exciting opportunity for a Telecommunications Rigger to join an exciting company implementing some of the latest technology.

We are now looking for two Telecommunications Riggers based from our Dublin office.

Key Responsibilities

  • To install and dismantle telecommunication equipment at height in addition to conducting site audits including the documentation of equipment on towers and LOS surveys
  • Extensive installation, commissioning, decommissioning, dismantling and removal of equipment from masts, towers, rooftops and buildings or premises; running cables, earthing, labelling, testing; Inspection and testing of ODUs, Splitters and IDUs auditing of rigging installation including structural and civil areas
  • Strict adherence to Health & Safety laws, best practice and company guidelines 

Skills and Experience 

  • Have proven, relevant experience working as a Telecom Rigger role on Microwave networks
  • Have excellent communications skills, including reading and both written and spoken English
  • Have the ability to work as a team on the same site / engineering project
  • PC Literate with a good level in Microsoft Office
  • Be in good physical condition as this is a physically demanding job
  • Ability to complete survey packs and Hand over documents (HOD’s)
  • Proven ability to work alone when required and be time flexible
  • To be able to work reasonable amount of overtime if required
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Experience of completing onsite risk assessments before commencing works
  • Ability to deal with customers in a professional and friendly capacity
  • Minimum five years’ experience working on Microwave wireless networks


  • RF (radio frequency) Awareness Certification plus an understanding of current legislation)
  • Advanced Climbing Certification (Troll, ISRT or equivalent and Tower Rescue trained)
  • MEWP Training and qualification to work at heights plus rooftop awareness training

  •  Knowledge or experience of Ceragon
