enet is Ireland’s largest open access network operator and the company responsible for managing the State’s fibre-optic Metropolitan Area Networks (MANs). enet provides a wide range of telecoms services on a wholesale basis and have become the provider of choice for fibre and wireless network services to the telecommunications industry in Ireland.  enet currently has an exciting opportunity for a Product and Procurement Support Executive to join an exciting company implementing some of the latest technology.

Job Purpose: The Product & Procurement Support Executive is to work closely with the Product Manager on new products and processes improvements. Also the candidate will be involved in procurement and leveraging on their knowledge of products to determine the best supplier and product to meet a customer requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis of Business Processes and develop requirements of new services
  • Implement process improvements across a range of enet current and future products
  • Provide support to the Order Support team across a range of key enet products
  • Technical UML Modelling of new services and workflows as needed
  • Documentation, design and implementation for projects and delivered services
  • Drive automation in all areas of IT infrastructure, software and provisioning and in support of Network Management and Network provisioning with Network Engineers
  • Independently research and develop solutions to internal requirements
  • Effectively manage resources in team efforts, communicate concepts and train other users

Skills & experience

  • Good understanding of Ethernet, VDSL, GPON, Internet Access etc
  • Establishment and management of all new proposals on behalf of enet within agreed SLA’s
  • Experience in a procurement environment
  • Communication of all new orders, upgrades and cancellations to relevant departments from enet CRM system.
  • Deliver adhoc reporting when required
  • Ongoing review and continuous improvement of current product documentation
  • Work closely with finance, planning and operations teams
  • Monitor & update Salesforce to ensure data reflects most up to date data
  • To establish, monitor and manage commercial KPI’s
  • To provide highest class administration support

Not a requirement but advantageous

  • Technical and Product support background experience required
  • Knowledge of key products such as Ethernet, FTTx, VoIP and the offering available across the market at both a Wholesale and a retail level
  • Highly motivated and proficient, able to grasp issues quickly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise workload, work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Microsoft Office skills – i.e. Excel ,Word, Visio etc
  • Work on own initiative and be able to bring new suggestions/processes idea’s to the team
  • Flexible individual capable of adapting to the team and throughout the organisation
  • Working use of Salesforce is an advantage
  • Previous experience working in a telco


  • 3rd Level qualification in a relevant degree or professional certifications
  • 3+ year experience in a Technical support environment
