Financial accountant mainly involved in preparing month end accounts, providing analysis to budget, ensuring tax compliance, assisting in general finance queries, maintenance and reconciliation of customer book of business.

Role Description

  • Accounts and reports
  • Business performance analysis including monthly, YTD, YOY profitability and actual vs budget variances, KPI and margin reporting on product type, trading sector and segment
  • Involvement in the preparation of sales analysis reports and review revenue accounting to include invoicing and sales reconciliations
  • Prepare and review cost of sales and overhead analysis
  • Maintenance of Fixed Asset register and balance sheet accounts such as prepaids, accruals, stock etc
  • Statutory filings such as VAT3, VIES, MOSS, RCT
  • Support in the preparation of year end statutory accounts and facilitating Auditor requests.
  • Support all finance functions within the business to include cash flow management, accounts receivable, accounts payable,
  • Ensuring the company is fully compliant with all relevant laws, accounting standards and filing requirements
  • Ensure full integrity of the financial information reported to management in line with good accounting practices and internal policies
  • Maintain strong working relationships with banks, external auditors and advisers
  • Assisting with Payroll
  • Other Ad hoc tasks and projects as required

Skills Required

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with 1 year’s relevant experience.
  • Experience in the Telecoms industry a desirable advantage.
  • Be able to work on their own initiative
  • Experience working as part of a team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be analytical with high proficiency in MS Excel
  • Ability to plan and prioritize work activities and use time efficiently
